This season, the Ikon Pass app will become your one-stop shop for mountain adventure. Designed to replace the Steamboat App, it combines all your favorite features with exciting new tools and enhancements to keep you connected, informed, and inspired. The upgraded Ikon Pass app is effortless to use, built for adventure, and designed to make every day on the mountain unforgettable.
Getting Started.
1. Remove the Steamboat App
If you have the Steamboat App installed on, start by deleting it from your device.
2. Download the Ikon Pass App
Visit your device’s app store (App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android) and search for Ikon Pass. Tap Download or Install.
3. Customize Your Ikon Pass App Homescreen
Once installed, open the app and sign in with your Ikon Pass account, or ‘Continue as Guest’. From there, you can favorite your go-to destinations—including Steamboat—to personalize your homescreen and get quick access to mountain info, webcams, and lift status.
Note: When you’re physically at a resort, your homescreen will automatically default to that destination’s page for real-time updates and tools specific to where you are.

Link a credit card to your Ikon Pass account to unlock the ease of Pay With Pass—the fastest way to pay around the resort. Guests who use Pay With Pass enjoy exclusive discounts and earn Mountain Credits redeemable at Steamboat-owned locations. You can even enable Pay With Pass for family members on your account.
Note: Steamboat is a cashless resort.

Mountain Credits are credits stored in your Ikon Pass app that can be earned and redeemed in-person at F&B, rental, and retail locations at Steamboat. Ikon Pass holders can access their Mountain Credits by logging into the Ikon Pass app under the ‘Wallet’ section. Pass holders will need to present the Mountain Credit QR code at check-out. Mountain Credits can be found in the Ikon Pass app and My Account on ikonpass.com by December 1, 2025.
Yes. Pay with Pass is available at Steamboat, allowing pass holders to scan to pay with the card on file and access Ikon Pass F&B, retail, rental, and other discounts.
