Another beautiful morning on the hill. No wind, a crisp chill and just a few people making turns on fresh corduroy. We made our way down Heavenly Daze, gave our legs a breather across Jess’ Cut Off and then stopped into the terrain park for some rails.

I’ll admit that riding rails, skiing backward across boxes and whatever else the kids do in the terrain park is totally foreign to me. My son and most of the kids in town seem to have figured it out. After a few laps through the park, we headed down Vogue. Skier’s right was smooth, so we linked tight turns till we made it to Stampede, where we opened them up some.

A few more laps from the gondi and then two on Christie Peak Express and our legs were feeling good. The sun will be out today and tomorrow bringing soft snow under blue skies. The forecast is calling for colder temps and snow in the beginning of the week. Do a little snow dance so the terrain park will be bigger and the snow will be deeper.
