As we prepare to open for summer operations at Steamboat Resort, we are excited to unveil our new summer trail map. The new map features an updated projection to display Steamboat’s expansive summer 2024 trail accessibility including the Steamboat Bike Park, multi-use single track trails and multi-use roads for hiking and biking.

The unveiling of the summer map comes after the debut of Steamboat’s 2023/24 winter trail map, the first new map projection in nearly a decade. Prior to the opening of the 2023/24 winter season we enlisted the help of expert graphic designer, Stefan Bast, to re-envision the design of our winter trail map to accurately display the recent redevelopments at Steamboat Resort including Greenhorn Ranch, Wild Blue Gondola and the 655-acre terrain expansion in Mahogany Ridge and Fish Creek Canyon.

Bast started from scratch to ensure the new map projection accurately represents base area and on-mountain advancements within the new resort boundaries. Using the same design as the winter 2023/24 map, Bast redesigned the summer map to include detailed representations of Steamboat’s terrain and niche zones to improve guest navigation on-mountain.
