Storm Break
It’s been a snowy week in the Yampa Valley with storms dropping nearly 20″ inches of fresh powder-light snows since Monday afternoon and conditions are skiing great! This morning offers a brief break in the storm patterns with clear skies, lots of welcomed sun and more snows anticipated starting up again tomorrow. The mountain currently has 26″ inch base, summit Temperature is 18° and the winds are calm with clear skies over head.

Base temperature is 16° and Steamboat has 8 lifts running and 38 runs open with more terrain expected to open through the weekend. Groomers have been hard at work laying packed powder conditions and expanding skiable terrain on the slopes.

Always wear a mask when on the mountain, chairlifts and while coming and going around the base area. If you have any questions while skiing, Steamboat Ambassadors are happy to help answer questions. Find one around the mountain wearing Steamboat logo yellow jackets.

Please continue to adhere to the current mountain closures as early season conditions persist. Many terrain hazards and dangerous exposures are yet to be covered with snow.

The outlaw coster is open open 11-4:30 today.
