Steamboat Mid Summer
Summer has been busy here in the Yampa Valley and it’s been moving by fast as the summer winds. With the Base area reconstruction and other grading projects on the mountain, it’s been another untypical summer in the Boat. Yet, with advancement and updates being added to the mountain, there is still a ton Steamboat offers while you’re in town. Wether you’re biking and hiking the mountain with friends and fam, hitting the rodeo or visiting the surrounding lakes and scenic drives, Steamboat has an endless amount of activities this summer.

The steamboat bike park is open daily offering trails and features to ride on. Bike rentals are available at the base area for full day and half day rental packages as well as Ride 101 Clinics and guides. With Christie Lift serving the Bike Park, riders can hitch their bikes to the top of Christie Peak to hit the trials down.

Hiking trails are open as well as multi use trails. Be sure to grab a map and identify your route and trails before hiking up the mountain. For weekly construction updates, you can visit www.steamboat.com/baseareaproject to learn more as the projects progress.

Steamboat Resort has safety measures and walkways in place so please follow proper signage and be on the lookout for any service vehicles or machinery. Activities open include the Outlaw Mountain Coaster, Maverick Mini Golf and Steamboat Bike Park.
