A quick storm system has arrived in the yampa valley bringing more moisture and warm temperatures to the Yampa Valley. Conditions this morning started off cloudy and snowing with firm, packed powder groomers. As the morning continues we’re seeing the sun shining through and temperatures rising as as the storm steadily clears out.
The base is currently 86″ at the summit and 63″ at mid mountain. Temperatures this morning are 23° at the Summit and 27° at the base and rising. The forecast is calling for spotted snow showers and temps into the mid to upper 30 over the next few days. Expect Spring like conditions for the week ahead. Have fun out there!
