The snows continue to fall here in the Yampa Valley. We have received over 8″ in the past 24 hours with 6″ falling after the lifts closed. Conditions are skiing great with plenty of fresh tracks to be found in the tree stashes.

The summit has what feel like more than 8″ inches up top with clearing skies. It is still snowing at mid mountain and the base area. The forecast call for continued snows through out the day leading to clearing skies this afternoon and tonight.

This weekend will feature the Slash and Burn Banked slalom in Bashor bowl on Saturday. The Bud Light Concert Series will feature March Fourth Marching Band in Gondola Square at 3:30. Enjoy the fresh snow and have a great day on the Mountain!
