It’s a cold day on the mountain this morning as snows continue to fall. With over 10″ falling in the past 48 hours, there are still lots of powder stashes to be found around the mountain with new snow falling. The top of storm lift has crisp 5-12 mph winds, so dress warm.

Skiers take off from Top of Sunshine Peak

With the recent opening of The Chutes and hike-to options of No Names and St. Pats, there is plenty of terrain choices with deep powder holding on. The temperature at the top is 10˙ with westerly winds.

Snowy Views from Rendezvous

The morning offers quiet stashes in the trees and around the mountain. Overnight winds have blown in the southern side of the slopes and aspen groves, making for the deeper turns and untracked lines. Forecasts call for more snow during the day and building heavy overnight!
