Steamboat’s old trail signs need a new home.
The Trail Sign Auction is your chance to own a piece of Steamboat history and support local Steamboat environmental organizations. The Trail Sign Auction will begin October 14 with (30) 72” x 12” signs starting at $50 and bid increases of $10.
The auction closes on Thursday, October 31 at 11:59 pm. After the auction closes, winners will be notified within a week and signs must be picked up in person at the Steamboat Ski Resort Ticket Office from Nov. 4 through 10, shipping will not be available. Winning purchases can be made by cash, check, or credit card, with checks made out to Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation for collection and distribution to the environmental fund managed by the Yampa Valley Community Foundation. Purchased signs are not tax deductible.
Proceeds from the trail sign auction support Steamboat Ski Resort’s Environmental Fund at the Yampa Valley Community Foundation. Annually the resort donates $25,000 to local, nonprofit organizations working to better our community through environmental practices.
