Sharing Skiing with your Kids
Steamboat Springs, the land of milk and honey for many of us who are fortunate enough to call it home. The community is something of legends and the natural environment lends itself perfectly to the adventurer at heart. Of course, one of the crown jewels of our beloved valley is in fact the ski mountain. Truth be told, Steamboat is a quintessential mountain town with a whole lot of heart and awesome powder to boot.
Now that I have two kids of my own, I have come to appreciate the need for family-friendly options. Getting my kids skiing at first seemed daunting. But, I believe skiing can be a family affair and wanted to share my love of the sport with my kiddos. There are definitely days where it feels like a heroic effort to get everyone and everything together but thankfully Steamboat offers some great support. Whether it’s the ease of getting to the slopes, beginner terrain, or overall kid-friendly options, Steamboat has it.
Free City Bus
The free bus is a great option for easy travel to and from the mountain. There are a few route options throughout town.
