Packed-Powder Days
Brisk, cool air and sunny skies are out today in the Yampa Valley. With Steamboat receiving 13″ earlier this week at the summit, conditions on the mountain are skiing great. The groomers are in excellent shape with packed powder conditions and lots of corduroy.

Cool air and warming as the current base temperature this morning is 6 ° and the summit temp is 16° up top. Skiers and rider are making turns upon a 30″ mid -mountain base and a 44″ summit base up high.

Steamboat currently is offering skiing on 16 lifts 138 trails and 2207 acres packed snow conditions.

Enjoy the blue skies and Packed Powder today. There are still plenty of soft turns to be had around the mountain and side stash spots in the trees.
