Powder Day for the Hollidaze

Happy Holiday week from the Boat! It’s been a fun week on the slopes filled with fresh snowfall here in Steamboat. Recent storms patterns from Tuesday and Wednesday have brought over 10″ of fresh snows to the mountain and we have opened tons of untracked, new terrain to explore.

Today we have bluebird skies and sun with a base temperature at 5° and summit -3° . Currently Steamboat is running 11 out of 18 lifts accessing 76 open trails. Steamboat is now offering 1,027 skiable acres of terrain. Early season hazards still exist to please be careful and obey ropes and caution signs.
The storms have rolled out from the Yampa Valley and the clear skies and sunshine are revealing fresh, Champagne Powder snows and Bluebird Holiday skies in time for Christmas. New terrain opening today are: Shadows, Closets and Lights Out offering fresh untracked snows to be found.

Please continue to maintain Social distancing when using lifts and skiing on the mountain.
