Brisk morning will make way for a large storm coming Monday night through much of Tuesday. It was 6 degrees Fahrenheit at 8:30am this morning on the gondola but by 9:30am it was near 20. Should hit mid 20’s this afternoon and the snow will still be firm enough to still dig in turns. Light is extremely flat and I imagine it will be all day. Definitely use a clearer lens or any lens that will help you see the imperfections in the snow. Taking Bashor lift we saw only a few people riding Rabbit Ears Terrain Park early in the morning. Heavenly Daze and Rudi’s Run is always good turns before 9am. A good option for beginners after riding Why Not is Spur Run. Really mellow grade and soft, easy turns.

Judging by the crowd today, you’ll want to be in line early tomorrow to get the goods.
