Celebrate Steamboat Style
July 4th has never looked so good!
Steamboat is offering unique festivities this July. Our beloved holiday includes the parade and the always impressive fireworks. This year, the activities are going to be even more impressive with a few added events! Don’t get stuck with doing the norm. Get out and enjoy all the variety Steamboat has to offer!
July 3:
9-12pm Ski Jumping Extravaganza at Howelsen Hill.
Looking to get a feel for flying through the air? Watch current Olympians and future stars as they jump for bragging rights.
10-4pm Art on the Mountain at the Base Area
See the art of local and visiting artists
7:30pm Rodeo and Bull Riding at Romick Arena
July 4:
9:15 am Nordic Roller Ski Race
Now this is a unique way to appreciate the effort and talent of our local and national Nordic skiers. Gone is the slick, gliding snow surface. Instead, these athletes will roll their way on modified small skis with wheels. Don’t be fooled, this isn’t easy!
10:00am Parade Time!
Enjoy the longtime Steamboat tradition.
12:00-4:00pm Jumping & Jammin’ Ski Jumping competition at Howelsen
Enjoy live music, drinks and celebration benefiting our local youth.
6:30pm Rodeo at Romick Arena
9:00pm Fireworks Show at Howelsen
Bottom line, be safe and enjoy all the excitement Steamboat has to offer!
