After out slow start we are starting to settle into a really nice pattern of weekly storms. The last several weeks have started out with a few dry days with sun and ended in some surprisingly good storms. All this snow has helped get most of the main lifts and runs open, so there are a lot more options on sunny days like today.

On the upper mountain, the best conditions are likely to be on the runs serviced by Sunshine lift. The grooming map is showing that everything from High Noon all the way over to Tomahawk is groomed today. The conditions on High Noon were very grippy this morning with only a few bumpy spots near the top to deal with.

If your goal is to find some leftover powder stashes, then make your way into Closet and Shadows. They are only open down to Duster but the trees in there are just thick enough to keep the area out of the sun and softer than the open runs. Because it faces North and rarely sees any sun, White Out is another good option for ungroomed terrain today.

Get your fill of the sunshine today and tomorrow because after that, the rest of the year is going to be snowy! The forecast is showing up to 30″ of snow may fall from this next storm cycle with another storm following closely behind. So get your snorkels out, its about to get deep out there!
