Western BBQ at Thunderhead Lodge – A Classic, Reimagined
A guest favorite returns with a fresh twist. Western BBQ now takes place on Friday nights, with select additional dates during peak holiday periods. After a scenic gondola ride to Thunderhead Lodge, you’ll be welcomed with an all-you-can-eat BBQ feast, full bar, and sweeping mountain views.
New this season, Western BBQ features line dancing and two-step instruction, expanded kid-friendly activities, and an entirely new lineup of Western bands, making the night more interactive and energetic than ever before. It’s a lively, family-friendly evening that blends tradition with a little extra fun — and it’s only available by reservation.
Hazie’s – Elevated Dining with a View
For an unforgettable evening out, Hazie’s offers Steamboat’s most refined dining experience. Located on the top floor of Thunderhead Lodge, Hazie’s pairs thoughtful cuisine and handcrafted cocktails with panoramic views of the Yampa Valley.
Named after Hazie Werner — a beloved Steamboat legend — the restaurant reflects her warmth and hospitality throughout the experience. Newly remodeled this season, the space feels fresh, modern, and elevated, making it the perfect setting for a special dinner on the mountain.
Comedy on the Mountain –Laughs at Elevation
Add a little humor to your night skiing plans with Comedy on the Mountain, happening all season long on select Saturdays. Ride the gondola up to Thunderhead Lodge and enjoy a rotating lineup of nationally touring comedians in a relaxed, intimate setting. With drinks, laughs, and mountain vibes, it’s an easy way to end the day on a high note.
Sunset Happy Hour at Thunderhead – Golden Hour, Steamboat-Style
