2015/16 PASSES UNVEILED AT LOWEST PRICE OF SEASON

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO-March 9, 2015-Steamboat unveiled its 2015/16 season pass pricing today, bringing back for another season a broad variety of flexible pass programs and significant value for Steamboat-Ski Town, U.S.A.® guests. Passes will again be offered at the guaranteed lowest prices of the year starting at 7:00am on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
“While there is still a+ month to go this winter, it’s never too early to start thinking about the next ski and snowboard season in Steamboat,” said Rob Perlman, senior vice president of sales and marketing. “Right now we’re offering Steamboat’s lowest pricing on season passes for a winter full of fun. We’re bringing back popular programs such as the Kids/Grandkids Ski Free pass program, First Tracks and Night Passes, while also providing a wide array of products to deliver flexibility and fit your on-mountain needs.”
Steamboat’s unrestricted adult season pass offers incredible value for the high frequency skier and rider from start to finish of the season. For the 30th season, when a parent, grandparent or legal guardian purchases an unrestricted adult Steamboat Season Pass, one child (12 & under) will receive a FREE child season pass and each additional child or teen in the same family enjoys $30 savings. The 2015/16 season is expected to run from Wednesday, November 25, 2015 (Scholarship Day-season passes valid starting 11/26) to Sunday, April 10, 2016.
Steamboat-6 and -15 Passes provide six unrestricted days of skiing and riding for $509 and fifteen unrestricted days for $819, when purchased by June 1. Through April 15 only, the Steamboat-6 is being offered at a special, limited time $469 rate. As an added bonus, pass holders can reload their individual pass with special $49 tickets for Steamboat-15 and $59 tickets for Steamboat-6 with no restrictions. Steamboat-6 and -15 pass holders may redeem unused days for summer gondola access.
Never carry cash or a credit card on the mountain again. Enjoy the flexibility to make purchases simply with your season pass. Turn your pass into a Smart Season Pass by attaching a credit card to it. Then pay with your Smart Season Pass to make purchases at any Steamboat Ski & Resort restaurant, rental and retail location, SnowSports School and more. Sign up at the Ticket Office for this complimentary season pass benefit.
Steamboat-15 and Season Pass holders can take advantage of the Night Add-On for unlimited night access for only $59 if purchased by Monday, June 1. For those that don’t own Steamboat-15 or Season Pass, a special night only season pass option is available for $199. The resort will again offer night operations five nights a week from Thursday through Monday, Mid December to late March.
The popular First Tracks direct-to-lift season pass will again be offered for the 2015/16 season for $359. Available in limited quantities and exclusively to season pass holders, the First Tracks pass provides special admittance to board the gondola between 8am to 8:15am accessing terrain in the Sunshine and Priest Creek areas.
Season Pass benefits allow pass holders to enjoy additional savings on dining, rentals, SnowSports School, guided gourmet snowshoe tours, as well as Steamboat Grand dining and spa. Steamboat Season Passes can be upgraded to include unrestricted access to Winter Park Resort for $99. Savings go even further as adult pass holders are eligible to purchase eight specially-priced lift tickets for friends and family. Friends & Family tickets are $59 for Early/Late Season and $89 for Regular Season.
Steamboat allows guests the option to lock in these prices with $99 down and final payment due September 14. Prices on all pass products are guaranteed at the lowest rate of the season through June 1, 2015; with the exception of the Steamboat-6 available for $469 through April 15.
