STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO-June 12, 2019-Daily operations at Steamboat Resort begin June 14 with scenic chairlift rides on Christie Peak Express, Land Up activities, and lower mountain access to the Steamboat Bike Park.

With the gondola closed for construction, Christie Peak Express will serve as the summer chairlift. The lift has been fitted with bike carriers allowing guests to haul their bikes up a portion of the mountain. Half of the Steamboat Bike Park will be available for summer 2019 with access from Christie Peak Express lift down to the base area including beginner, intermediate and advanced/expert trails. All upper mountain multi-use trails including Sunshine, Pioneer, Pete’s Wicked and more, will remain open during the summer season.

Steamboat Bike Park season passes are on sale for $149 and single day Bike Park tickets including lift access will be $35. The Pedal Pass, offering summer access to the Steamboat Bike Park trails from Christie Peak Express lift down without lift access, will be available for $29.  Bike rentals, including downhill and cross-country bikes, pedal assist bikes, cruisers and safety equipment will continue to be available through the Bike Shop located adjacent to the Christie Peak Express lift. The Steamboat Ambassadors will continue to offer free guided hiking tours, as well as Hike & Lunch tours on select summer days.
